An ode to rebirth, in the form of a practice, on the last few days of scorpio season.
Rebirth is a gift of rediscovery—a continual return to who we are meant to be, layer by layer. Each cycle of rebirth often begins with a subtle feeling—a restlessness, a quiet awareness that something within us needs to shift. We may not know exactly what it is, but we sense it’s time to move in a new direction. I came to think that this longing holds the seed for the becoming.
As we engage with practices that guide us inward, like this one, or the many others we’ve shared so far, we begin to glimpse our own infinity—and with it, our true potential. We uncover qualities that have been dormant or hidden beneath layers of habit and belief. When we touch that vastness, confidence arises—a confidence that creates space to let go, even when we aren’t sure what we’re letting go to.
The journey can be uncomfortable, even disorienting, as we step outside of old roles and routines. But with every release, we clear the way for more authenticity and deeper connection with our true self. Rebirth is an act of self-trust—trusting that what’s emerging is more aligned with who we truly are, and that each step brings us closer to a more authentic version of ourselves.
Like any natural cycle, rebirth ebbs and flows. Some days we feel renewed, while other days, we may be pulled back into old patterns. The beauty of rebirth lies in its patience. Each cycle prepares us for the next, empowering us with self-awareness, clarity, and the understanding that we can continually shed, re-center, and grow.
Through our practices, we awaken the creative principle—kundalini shakti—within, attuning ourselves to its rhythm and wisdom. We cultivate a state where the mind is calm, the body is open, and the heart is receptive. In this space, we become the vessel through which kundalini can express her transformative power. Each movement, breath, and posture refines us into a chalice—one that receives, holds, and channels the creative force of kundalini: awakening, liberating, expanding.
With every practice, we fine-tune ourselves to resonate with this life-giving force, allowing us to experience rebirth as a constant state of renewal and flow. Over time, as we deepen this process, we find ourselves not only transformed but also deeply connected to the source of creation, aligning with the world around us in a way that feels purposeful and alive.
This practice, like all the others, is about the continual process of becoming—of channeling the creative, transformative energy of kundalini, and of allowing ourselves to be exalted by our own infinite potential. Sacred, ongoing.
