haven of clarity

This week’s session is centered around emotional regulation and the quiet power of the neutral mind, which in kundalini yoga is known as the 4th body. With the capricorn full moon behind us, there’s clarity in the air, now is a good time for honest assessment and recalibration.

Capricorn, in its higher expression, offers the virtues of discernment and commitment. It sees with clear eyes, builds from integrity and with patience. That is the energy we are grounding into.

The kriyas in this session work with the vagus nerve and to expand the neutral mind - the aspect of us that holds spaciously what is.

There is a world of nuance between cold and clear:
Cold is detached - clear is present.
A cold mind suppresses - a neutral mind opens.

When the neutral mind is strong, we are less reactive and more responsive. One can sit with contradiction, hold nuance, and choose from a steady center.

This practice is one to return to when life feels overwhelming. Deeply regulating, quietly clarifying.
