gratitude and prosperity

As you know, I was born and raised in France, where Thanksgiving isn’t a thing at all, so it doesn’t carry the family traditions for me that it does for many Americans. Instead, it feels très exotique and more about chosen family—the people I picked along the way to share my life with, my friends, my witches (you), my community of expats here where I live. From the moment I first heard about it, I’ve been absolutely enchanted by the idea of gathering around a table, sharing a meal, and speaking our gratitude out loud. To me, a French woman, that ritual feels like one of the most beautiful and powerful ways to connect, and it is this spirit I’ve admired about this holiday ever since.

In yogic philosophy, the Positive Mind (third body in the ten-body system) plays a crucial role in cultivating gratitude and, by extension, prosperity.

The positive mind is the solution finder. When I focus my positive mind on looking for things to be grateful for, my negative mind—the subconscious—naturally steps in to find evidence to prove its point. Over time, this rewires my subconscious to confirm, day after day, that my environment isn’t hostile but is, in fact, conspiring in my favor. Gratitude becomes the lens through which I see the world, and the world responds accordingly.

In this session, working on the positive mind enhances our capacity to focus on life’s blessings, which strengthens our capacity for gratitude. This gratitude not only nurtures emotional fulfillment but also aligns us with prosperity by making us capable of recognising opportunities, building resilience, and amplify our generosity. As we align the positive mind with gratitude, we unlock a cycle of joy, abundance, and spiritual growth.

Wishing us all many days of counting our blessings.
